President – Graham Kemp
Secretary – Peter Hookham
Treasurer – Judith Dobson
Membership Secretary – Hannah Lopez
Members - Sarah Eaton, Peter Edgerton, Lynn Hunter, Anne Macintyre, Matt
Newton, Stewart Nisbet, Scott Strachan, Billy Webster,
It’s great to have new committee members and helps spread the work around. Thanks to Andrew Aird for all his work as Membership Secretary last year. Hannah has kindly
volunteered to take this job on - so renew your membership now to save her having to
chase you up https://www.entrycentral.com/KRRMembership
Loch Leven Half Marathon, Sat 12th May
Entry is now open on Entry Central and there are already almost 500 places taken so if you intend running you better get your place booked. HOWEVER – we need as many volunteers as we can muster to make the event a success so please get the date in your diary and Lynn will be in touch looking for volunteers. We are committed to not only making this one of the best Half Marathon events but also one of the ‘greenest’ with compostable water cups and wooden medals planned.
Date for the Diary – Sunday 11th March at 11am – Also on the ‘green’ theme, we are organising a ‘Plogging’ session - this involves collecting litter while out jogging – the name is a hybrid of the Swedish word ‘plocka’, which means picking up, and jogging – trust the eco conscious Scandinavians to come up with this! We plan to jog the Tuesday evening routes around Kinross and Milnathort including Gallowhill. Please join us - bring along sturdy gloves - bags and litter pickers will be provided.
We welcome any ideas from members on how to make the club and our events ‘greener’.
Championship Races 2018 – The Road and Off-road race lists were confirmed before
Christmas and available on our website – entry is open for quite a few of them.
